How Signal of Lincoln proves every patrol stop in Lincoln, NE: NFC checkpoint scans, officers who test doors and gates, photos and escalation reports.

The short answer: Over 2025 and 2026, Signal of Lincoln supported Lincoln through sponsorships, donated officers and our team showing up in person: the Team Jack Foundation, the Lincoln Heart Walk, the Walk to End Alzheimer's, The Eastmont Foundation, the Lincoln Sports Foundation, the Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG) Golf Tournament, the Apartment Association of Nebraska's volleyball tournament, the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce and race seasons at Legacy Downs.
We are a locally owned security company. We live here, we hire here, and we think a security company should be part of the community it protects. Here is a look back at where you found us.

The Team Jack Foundation is working to find a cure for childhood brain cancer, and it is a cause close to our hearts. In 2026 Signal of Lincoln was a Victory Sponsor at the Team Jack Foundation Gala and the title sponsor of Nebraska Derby Day at Legacy Downs on May 30, 2026, with Team Jack as the charity of the day. You will also find us on the course at the Team Jack Golf Classic.

We have supported the American Heart Association's Lincoln Heart Walk two years running. In 2025, one of our officers and a Signal patrol vehicle stood by overnight so the setup was ready and secure when walkers arrived. In September 2026 we donated an officer to support the Walk to End Alzheimer's in Lincoln.
For two years we have supported The Eastmont Foundation's Monopoly for the Monarch, which raises money for the Monarch Charity Care Fund to help families cover the cost of hospice care at The Monarch. In 2025 we were also a Bronze Benefactor at Eastmont's golf tournament.

In 2025 Signal of Lincoln was one of the beverage cart sponsors at the Lincoln Young Professionals Group (YPG) Golf Tournament, alongside FNBO and Edward's Stone. In May 2025 our team took the sand at the Apartment Association of Nebraska's annual volleyball tournament. It was a great day with Lincoln's apartment community.

We are proud to support the Lincoln Sports Foundation. When the USA Archery JOAD Target Nationals came to LSF CAMPUS in July 2026, we provided overnight watch and daytime parking support. We have also helped with crowd control at the LSF Sports Complex during a busy weekend of soccer and volleyball.

Signal of Lincoln supported race operations at Legacy Downs at WarHorse Casino Lincoln for the 2025 and 2026 live racing seasons, and in 2025 we were also a race sponsor. Our Proud Sponsor banner hung on the rail, and we were part of the team on the ground making race days run smoothly.

We celebrated our office at 1921 S. 17th Street with a Lincoln Chamber of Commerce ribbon cutting, and we stay involved in Chamber events, including the Chamber's 2026 Annual Meeting.

A Nebraska native, Troy grew up in small towns across the state, including South Sioux City, Lexington and Cozad, and those communities shaped how he leads: show up, do what you said you'd do, and take care of the people around you. With more than 20 years of experience as a business owner, Troy took ownership of Signal of Lincoln in September 2024 and stays hands-on with clients and officers every week. Troy is a graduate of Buena Vista University with a degree in Sports Marketing, where he was a four-year letter winner and captain of the football team. He's also an Eagle Scout. Those experiences built the foundation of leadership, discipline and accountability he brings to Signal every day.
